I’m Carly, an accredited integrative counsellor (MBACP Accred) registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I adhere to the BACP ethical framework. Achieving BACP accreditation reflects my commitment to high professional standards, ongoing supervision, and continuing professional development. I trained for four years at The Minster Centre in London, one of the UK’s leading institutions for psychotherapy and counselling, accredited by Middlesex University.
My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic models, including psychodynamic and person-centred theory, attachment theory, trauma-informed practice, and psychoeducation. I work relationally, placing the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the process, and tailor the work to meet each client’s individual needs.
Over the past decade, I’ve supported a diverse range of clients in both short-term and longer-term work. Alongside my private practice, I work with a specialist domestic abuse organisation, supporting women who have experienced abuse and coercive control. My previous work includes roles in community counselling services, IAPT organisations, and crisis pregnancy support.
I offer a calm, thoughtful space where you can feel heard and understood, without judgement. Therapy can be a place to reflect, explore, process past and present experiences, and move toward greater clarity and emotional wellbeing.
If you’re considering therapy, feel free to get in touch - I’d be happy to answer any questions or arrange an initial session. You can email me at carlycoren15@gmail.com or call me on 07894 210742.
