Carly Coren Counsellor & Therapist

I work integratively, which means I draw from a range of approaches - including psychodynamic, person-centred, and trauma-informed approaches - to suit your individual needs. My style is warm, relational, and collaborative. I believe that therapy works best when it feels safe, supportive, and rooted in mutual respect.

Women’s mental health is often shaped by our roles, life experiences, and the pressures we carry - especially around motherhood, identity, relationships, and recovery from trauma. Whether you're feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure of what’s wrong, therapy can offer a space to feel heard and begin to make sense of your experience.

You might be navigating:

  • Anxiety or persistent worry
  • Postnatal depression or mood changes
  • Burnout or emotional overwhelm
  • Low self-esteem or self-critical thoughts
  • Body image concerns
  • The effects of past abuse
  • A loss of trust or sense of safety
  • Relationship struggles
  • A sense that something just doesn't feel right

Our work together can support you in exploring what has shaped you, developing greater self-awareness, and discovering new ways to relate to yourself and others. I offer short-term and open-ended therapy, and we will go at a pace that feels manageable for you. There is no expectation to have everything figured out before you begin - therapy can simply be a place to start where you are.
